Fantastic pie! Forget ordering pizza to be delivered! Go sit down and order your pie with a salad. By the time you finish what we called the best salad ever, the pizza should be on its way. Super friendly people. Great food, and amazing salads. Thanks to everyone for a meal we won't ever forget.

REVIEW UPDATE! WOW...it's like night and day coming at certain times. The first time I went during lunchtime, it was amazing! I was so impressed! But dinner? NO WAY AND NOT EVER AGAIN. I'm so embarrassed about how well I talked about this place, even brought family to try it out! We came here Monday night to celebrate my husband's birthday! I had to ask for a washcloth to wipe down the tables, chairs, and high chair as it was all sticky and disgusting. Nobody even offered to help me clean anything! We only had 5 adults 2 kids and a baby. We ordered 1 large pizza 2 mediums and a small. So it wasn't like we were putting anyone out. They were sorry about forgetting our drinks which was was fine of course. But everytime I went to the window to ask for something which was twice, nobody helped me except for one sweet lady. Everyone would just stand there looking and ignoring me! Not to mention the first time I went, the coke machine was out. But a whole 2 months later it was still out? And there was a huge group of wild children running around the whole restaurant screaming and yelling as if it were a playground running up and down the stairs, even coming up to our table playing disrupting our dinner. It was legit a mad house like we were at the zoo or something.

The Pizza Place was recommended to us by a hospital worker. This place makes a great pizza. We ordered a thin crust pizza with sausage and mushrooms. The thin crust is the best. So much Italian sausage on it. I've never had lose sausage on a pizza. I'm so glad I did this time. So much sausage that it blanketed the pizza. This a great thing. I had sausage in every bite. It was awesome.
Good price and service. We did take out.

We visited here for the first time as we’ve heard great things about this place. Everyone was SO happy and friendly as we arrived. They were pretty busy, but we placed our order and everything came out pretty fast. The pizza was great, cheese sticks were great as well. They offer salads, but I didn’t get that this time. We will be back.

Discussing ‘The Pizza Place’ with friends in the area, it had amazing recommendations putting every other pizza restaurant to shame. I love that it is locally owned and operated, I am a big supporter of that. However, I was disappointed by the pizza, which was held at a very high standard, it was fairly dry and lacked a lot of flavor which is not typical of pizza, generally speaking. The staff was very nice and polite and I genuinely enjoyed all my interactions with all the employees. The restaurant is cute and adds a sense of history to the restaurant. I’m definitely going to come back again, just of the fact that I have never heard a bad word about it, so maybe it was an off night. If it wasn’t for the reputation I wouldn’t be giving it a second chance. Current rating: C-. Will update review!

Rodger has the best Pizza I've had in 35 years. He created us at the door he led us into his restaurant he took a personal interest in what we wanted and he made us feel welcome and best yet wanted. I have to be honest that it was the best place I've been in the last 30 years. I really can't say enough about good it was. Rodger cares about his guests and his employees and that special. Special beyond words. If you want an old school pizza pie give Rodgers Pizza Place a try. You will not be underwhelmed. Thank you Rodger for the commitment to excellence. It has not gone unnoticed.

No flavor, bland and super greasy. After I was contacted about my bad experience here I was offered coupons, but honestly will not be returning. Getting jerked around for days just made me so upset I gave up. Lesson learned.

The Pizza Place- I really like the Pizza here at the restaurant, love the decor, love the employees, and will definitely come back! I like the bread & sauce ratio on the Pizza. Come & try it! It’s worth it! I will tell you what I liked about this restaurant is that people from all over & different times signed there names on the wood inside the restaurant! I got to sign my name to! Visit this Pizza place it’s worth it!! ?
