In January 2024, we made the decision to engage TMA by investing in their highest tier plan, anticipating a robust partnership aligned with their mission. Unfortunately, our experience highlighted severe operational deficiencies that undermined our expectations.

TMA's failure to establish a customer blueprint has proven to be a significant hurdle. In an age driven by collaborative tools like Trello, ClickUp, Jira and Slack, their reliance on outdated email correspondence has resulted in chaotic communication, often mixing multiple topics within a single thread. This disorganization makes it extremely challenging to track important information, requiring tedious reviews of past emails. With recent leadership changes, particularly following Chris's departure, we are skeptical about any potential improvements.

Our onboarding experience was further marred by the absence of our account manager during the initial session. While they assured us she would catch up, her subsequent responses indicated a troubling lack of efficiency and a disregard for our efforts. We later received a Google form to complete, which took more than two hours. Despite this effort, the account manager continued to email us with questions that we had already answered in the form, raising initial concerns about the organisation's efficiency.

Two months later, we embraced their social media package, optimistic for enhanced engagement. However, the social media specialist blatantly disregarded our explicit request for tailored content across platforms, instead opting to replicate the same material on FB, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This clear misalignment with our goals, coupled with low-quality content and excessive revisions, was profoundly disappointing. Consequently, we chose to terminate our SoMe partnership in June 2024.

Moreover, the challenges continued with the SEO team. After four months, the specialist was still unable to optimize our website's metadata and shockingly dismissed the relevance of “Alt-Text” for images. The PPC team's negligence, evidenced by their failure to access our Google account for four weeks during an active campaign, raises serious concerns. Any competent PPC specialist would have routinely consulted the account to gather data and refine the campaign. TMA's chronic delays in corrections—taking 3 to 4 weeks for new launches—highlight a troubling absence of project management.

It's evident that the owner's singular focus on acquiring new clients without investing in necessary resources has led to significant project delays, ranging from 3 to 6 weeks. This has left us feeling as though TMA's team is overwhelmed and unable to deliver on their promises.

We sincerely hope for a turnaround that prioritizes customer service, especially after our 8-month commitment to TMA.
