During the darkest time of my life I found White’s Funeral home to be the best decision. The amazing support and professionalism from each employee made my grieving decisions possible and I left there with peace when it was all said and done. Every detail was taken care of even when I didn’t know how minuscule the item was. White’s took care of everything from posting the obituary to making a fabulous picture slide show. Whites Funeral Home engaged in an unethical manner and knowingly contributed to causing my children pain. My children have been estranged from their entire father's family for over a year and a half. This was not my children's choice. My children were not notified of the death of their biological great grandmother by any member of her family. My children's biological grandmother decided to include my children in the count for great grandchildren. This action was very hurtful to my children. I called White's and asked them to remove my children from the count. At first they agreed to but then changed their mind stating that they would not remove them. There is nothing legally that prevented them from making this change. However, the Texas Funeral Directors code states that members "shall serve each family in a professional and CARING manner, BEING RESPECTFUL OF THEIR WISHES..." Whites was neither professional or respectful in their treatment of my children.

This funeral home is one of the least professional places I've ever had to deal with. To ask whether or not someone is worth $3,000 for a cremation is ridiculous. Children are without their mother for the rest of their lives and right before Christmas Day. A friend came in to try and get funeral arrangements made for his sister and he told them that we currently have 1k in a GoFundMe right now but we would be getting the rest of the money to make the arrangements and set a date soon. Instead of offering any condolences or trying to assist in making arrangements you send him to someone else and ask him if his sister (no matter how close they are) is even worth $3,000 to spend on her. Completely unprofessional of the staff and funeral home altogether. Thank you for sending him to the other funeral home we would not have wanted to deal with the staff at this location if this would have been the customer service we would have received after the payment was taken.
